i hate damn mail in rebates.. anyhow for a 500gb drive your gonna pay .35/gb. i dont buy anything but seagate anymore and im willing to pay more. ive got dozens and dozens of hard drives and failure rate is much better for me with seagates.

i went to newegg expecting to pay around 220-240 per 500gb drive so to find them for 229.99 with a free 250... SOLD.

i guess a good deal is only relative to what you want to buy =]

i probably charge more for my services than some people, but id like to think im worth it.
