It's a silly thing to do, I know...but I gotta tell all of ya, after shooting 400+ scenes over the last 4+ years, and working right in the middle of it all, there's some definite traits that most "pornstars" posess:
1) Some sort of definte lack of attention from a parental figure, most often lack of a father. It used to surprise me when, time after time, a porn girl doesn't know her dad, or was adopted...and almost always it's a lack of a dad - not a mom.
2) A whole bunch of Christianity - in one form or another - has been shoved down the porno girls throat from as far back as she can remember.
3) In addition to the sexual abuse you mentioned, a whole lot of teen promiscuity went on with a porn star's life...which would make sense, but again probably falls back on reason #1.
4) Party girls who don't like to keep some sort of regular scehdule - or, another way to say it, from the mouth of my pal Sophia, who's been in the biz 3+ years, "porn is a great job for lazy people".
5) Almost all male porn stars are sex addicts.
There you have it. Again, as Boy Alley says, general stereotypes are a silly game to play...but hey, there's a reason why stereotypes exist.
