as far as the bat situation...you all are sucking his dick, but have no idea of his past...or who he's fucked over or what kind of legal issues he may be going through? or have gone through...you don't know...you just take gossip and spread it like wildfire, you feed on it and not good gossip either, bad shit...if the contest was for a site design, and the winner gets 7500 bucks, and i ask someone to design it for me for 400 bucks...AND THEY AGREE TO IT...and i pay them the money...did anyone really get screwed? or is bat just a fucking jagoff that did the job he got paid for? who gives a fuck what traci did with the money, that is none of your business!! that was then this is now...if she owes you money, you will get it...she's not gone, she's not a dead beat...you will get your money...
so before you start writing people off and ruining careers, take a second back here in reality and give em a chance to make good...don't do business with them again, but don't try to destroy them cause you got your feelings hurt...or didn't get your way! everyone talks about loyalty in web design...how about loyalty, even though you didn't get your way? crybabies, give me a fucking break!!

errr... if the guy agreed to do the work for those 400 bucks, it's because he had no information on what was the price, or do you really think somebody who knows the real facts would make the work for a 5% of the prize? Are you mixing medications? I understand that certain times a broker is advisable, but when the broker takes his/her slice of FUCKING 95% and he/she didn't even pay that lousy 5%, then this is not somebody I'd trust as a client nor as a worker. I'm not taking parts here, but if what was posted is true, then this guy batdelfuego (which i don't know, just in case) has my support, for what it worth.
Now, let's imagine these scenario: one of these so called "brokers" (the name comes because they leave the workers broke?) win a contest and the client wants more of that quality stuff. But in the meanwhile, the designer stopped working for the broker. What will the broker deliver? Scams and lies. There's nothing else in his/her bag of tricks. Now, if you're honest and you keep the people who's really making you money happy, then you'll have big chances to succeed. And if the "almighty" broker wants more money, then he/she should start to work for real. For a change, huh?
