for what it worth, I just skip those asking for my mail. Do you want to spam me? Then FIRST try to have decent material at decent prices, then MAYBE I'll buy something and then you'll have my mail. Either way, I'll delete any spam without reading it, so with the "give me all your information and MAYBE I'll give you access to my almighty content" way of doing things, you lost the sales and the chance to spam. And don't tell you don't want the addresses to spam, because I get spam from each and any contant provider I ever registered, not to mention those which I bought from, even when I always opt out. I'm not a big buyer, maybe 200-300 a month, but I'm sure there are hundreds of webmasters who act like me. At least, most of those who posted in this thread. Just do the maths  Funny thing is that I was looking for content yesterday and thinking about posting exactly the same subject
