It is blatently obvious that the current way of saturating the marketplace with more and more free stuff will reach a point where it's just too much.

Some will agree that we have already reached that point but they will continue to do what they have been doing, and some say that we are have not reached that point yet so they will also continue doing what they have been doing.

This industry is too big and it has too many independent operators to be regulated before it collapses under it's own weight, and it will collapse.

The recent VISA fiasco has given some webmasters a taste of things to come, but be aware, there is heaps more where that came from.

It will need to get worse, much worse, before it can get any better. But that will take a long time because domains that currently host all that free stuff will take time to expire.
