Thats the third instance that I have read about where it *appears* zango is targeting people under 18 with porn. According to the article here: " Eva's bra! Some chick's completely naked butt! And though they're just out of shot, there's also Carmen Electra's Striptease Workout (it says here) and, er, "Christina Aguilera Grabbing Herself".Awesome.
Well, can you guess who left their butt-tacular videos all over this teen-themed website?
Yep, got it in one.
The chicks, Vida and Pink? Zango!
Eva, Xtina and Buttcheek Girl? Zango!
And....go back to the first screenshot. See "Today's Funniest Videos"?
Zangoooooooooooooooooooooooooal! ""
Instance #2: Myspace, where a lot of the users are under 18.
"Put one of our videos on to your myspace profiles and all of your friends will see it"
Already a major no-no where Myspace is concerned. Then the stakes are raised - the Zango representative goes on to suggest that...
...more profitably, *go to a bunch of your friends* who have popular profiles and pay them (it's up to you so much. One of my partners said 5$..maybe offer to split the money with them?) to put a zango video into their profile through your site. This will give you hundreds of extra installs a day (this probably works even better than having them on your actual site).
Myspace forbids people making money from piggybacking the system. Simply placing videos pushing Adware on a profile to make money is bad enough, but encouraging people to hand money over to one another to put money in the pockets of both an Adware company and an affiliate is yet another step down the murky road of "not allowed".
He also recommends putting up things like "a Karate guy doing flips, and link it to a gallery of 100 Zango videos". Apparently, it's "WAYYYY more profitable".

Instance #3: Warner Bros, zango games were places on a warner bros website, kids downloaded the games, consented to the TOS (which you need to be 18 anyway) and then got hit with porn popup ads from the search assistant.
Warner Bros. Studios, home to Bugs Bunny, Scooby Doo and Harry Potter, said yesterday that it plans to terminate a business relationship with Zango Inc., an adware company that has been offering free games on the Warner Bros. Web site in exchange for permission to install a computer program that could push advertisements and pornography.
Zango is offering free downloads of games on a Warner Bros. Web page called "Fun Stuff" that appears to be for children. But when users click on the game, they're directed to a page that asks for permission to install on the computer a program called Zango Search Assistant. Hidden in the terms of agreement is the disclosure that users may receive adult-oriented ads through it

MORALITY IN MEDIA, INC. was established in New York City in 1962 to combat pornography. Now national in scope, MIM works to inform citizens and public officials about the
harms of pornography and about what they can do through law to protect their communities and
children.
So teenages download zango free movies and games and the search assistant is packaged in which then pops up porn on their computers...... The adult community gets blammed for this. We don't want porn on kids computers. We need to contract MIM and make them aware of what 180solutions is doing. 180solutions Obviously doesn't care who gets hit with porn. The could easily not install the search assistant on content that is geared towards childen but they do it anyway. The still get paid avdertising money when the pop up is displayed.
HEY AFF, so you not only use a company which is allowing you to steal from us but now kids are getting your AFF pages poped up on their PCs. And last time I checked AFF has a lot of nudity on that page. This is pretty dangerous on your part as well. Some of the traffic you are getting from Zango is kids! Yet you use them anyway.
