i bought me a "vista premium ready" VAIO laptop mid october
turns out if you buy a vista ready pc between october 26th and something like march 2007 you get a free upgrade
Registered my laptop yesterday online and cheated a bit with the date of purchase ... hope it helps
However I don't think i'll change to vista and just keep XP (media center edition
)
