What I'm looking for is chat rooms.
Napster had different chat rooms based on different genres. You could go into a rock chat room and browse all the files of a user in the chat. It was great for finding new music.
WinMX has something similar, except most of the people have nothing but porn (not that there's anything wrong with that). Also, too much kid/mature porn on there.
