Servers are a nightmare enough without throwing in a lack of software and a nightmare of a installations finding a programmer to get the scripts working on mac.

What possible advantage coulda mac server have? Unix don't crash and its software is the standard.

Exactly.
I am all for Mac, in its proper application.
I dont think Apple servers have any advantage, so as you say 'Why switch?'
Macs have their advantages, those that know of them apply their technology.
Those that don't, complain about the price of a mac and move on to ther Pentiums.
