is the news will never give us the whole story. One party or another/one governmental department or another will spin the truth into what they want us to think is the truth. Don't look to politicians to give truth or consistency for that matter. They are moved in one direction or another by those padding their campaign account. They all have flip-flopped at one point or another. Yeah, some are worse than others, but they all do it.
Ok, so that was about a quarter's worth. Am I flip-flopping now?
