Oh man, go to any drug users anon meeting and you'll find that rationalization is text book.
If you read my friends suicide note he was saying the exact same things in his early stages. People addicted to drugs will rationalize their use by saying things like:
- Im hard working and deserve a little treat for myself
- My natural sense of responsibility will prevent me from letting this get out of hand.
- I'm stronger than people who would give in to it and allow their lives to be taken over by this. To me it's just a little treat.
Do whatever you have to do to get off of it.
I'm only saying this because I dont want what happened to him to happen to you or anyone else.
