Well maybe it's not TOETALLY him but the way they have him acting. But here are some of the things I notice in every episode.

1. He's like Quick Draw McGraw on answering that cellphone.
2. He is always trying to deliver a one liner, or punchline, but comes off weak.
3. The show's dramatic enough without him trying to come off as a tough guy.
4. Enough with the putting on the shades shit like the Terminator.



I've never watched the other one's, even thought I like William Peterson. But if they are like this where you start waiting for the Lennie Briscoe one liners (like in L&O) then it gets pretty stale.

I suppose college punks could make a drinking game combining the...

-Putting on sunglasses close ups
-Answering the phone before the end of the first ring
-Miami skyline shots
-Cheesy tough guy one liners

The above should get you hammered well in an hour.
