He would have had all the resentment of vanilla ice except without the "deep down everyone actually likes ice ice baby". At this point, no one gives a shit. He started promoting himself too early, and now people have had to wait for his garbage. Still, he'll have released an album, which I guess is... kind of an achievement... what a douche bag.
