Maybe I'm just too old to care about being invited to the "elite" parties or not. I will say that I've had an invitation to come to every single party - big, small and I guess "elite" - that I've ever wanted to attend in 5+ years of conventions (as well as all the private smaller parties throughout the years).
Why would ANYONE want to go to party they weren't invited to?! That makes no sense to me......
If you're going to have an "invitation only" party, you should keep it "invitation only"
