well, there was the time in the 6th grade that I worked as a newspaper boy for a throw away newspaper. Delivered twice a week - Wednesday was the big advertising edition, and had 250 to toss, Sunday was a thin edition and only 125.
In order to get paid I had to go door to door and ask them if they wanted to get the paper everytime, they would pay $.50/mo and I got $.30 of it. Of course I had to pay for my own rubberbands. It really sucked. Was like the TGP of the newspaper world.
Then when I was a freshman in high school I worked as a shoeshine boy at a barbershop. Tough job for a white boy
