but what I'd really like to see is more things being taught to children like moral precepts, basic concepts of right and wrong, ethics, maybe some common respect and courtesy. "do unto others..." doesn't have to be derived from the bible for it to be true and utilized in schools for it's innate value.

Maybe society wouldn't be going to hell in a handbasket quite so fast as it is now if that were to happen.
