It looks like religious bigotry will be what brings me out of my GFY sabbatical. When a group perverts the teachings of a religion, the religion itself is not perverted. Islam in and of itself is a peaceful religion. When it is hijacked by extremists, it becomes something else.
Dangerous and intolerant extremists are not limited to Islam and anyone with an IQ above 90 probably understands that.
