Diesel used to be here 93 euro cents a litre.
Then the war etc began and was something like 1.25 a litre
Now it's about 1.05 a litre

There's 3 1/2 litres to the gallon.

Petrol is about 1.40 a litre so a gallon would be 4.90 euro's that's about $5.50 - $ 6.00 a gallon.
American's should stop bitchin about fuel prices. Us dutchies pay for your discounts :D
