Several years ago a girl living in Cocoa Beach asked a surf photographer if he would take some pictures of her because she wanted to get into modeling. Inexperienced in glamour photography, he referred her to me. I was going to set up a shoot but another friend told me he had already seen her and she wasn't worth photographing and it would be a waste of a four hour drive. I turned her down.

A few years later I ran into my surf photographer friend and he asked me why I didn't photograph the girl he referred to me. I told him our other friend said she was a waste of time. He looks me straight in the eye and says " do you know who she was "? I said no and shrugged my shoulders. He says " that was Chasey Lain ". She was trying to get started and was looking for a photographer to work with.

My other friend had mislead me just out of jealousy. I had severed the friendship long before I found out what happened and every time I see the name Chasey Lain it makes me want to seek him out and beat on him just a little bit more
