Yes, I have been an addict for 2 years now. For me it's not an addiction in a negative sense, it's a way of life. I'm perfectly happy sitting in my chair 15 hours a day staring at the screen. This lifestyle might be a problem to someone who has an offline job/friends/kids/school, but suits me just fine.
I don't need anything else in my life, meeting friends have always been nothing but a chore for me, kids I want but not quite yet, and I can finish my college online if I ever want to continue my studies.
I do get intensely anxious when something happens to my computer/internet connection. That's the only downside in any addiction, I guess, when you can't get any!
