I've found that it does vary. Sometimes we'll have a pinned thread and it'll get a LOT of action. Other times it gets some views but not many replies. It's hit and miss but it's definitely a good way to get the word out. You may not click the stuck thread, but you at least see the title of it each time you load the main index
