There sure is something to be said for *actually* being offshore and pretending to be - or trying to operate offshore corps when residency remains onshore. One is legal - the other a greyish/possibly illegal scenario - depending
Anyways.. the weather is nicer offshore and nobody sends tax forms, - it's a hard choice
