It all depends o the person. I enjoy my married life. Some people never want to be monogomous and that's their deal. Face it...We're all in the biz of slanging smut. Nobody expects anybody in this biz to be with just 1 person.
I'm an old fashioned guy with old fashioned ideals. A lot of people are jaded and I'd be curious to see how many people come from broken homes themselves. Almost every couple I know has been married 5-60 years, and have always been there for one another. I expect to do the same.
Reasons for marriage?
#1. Children... If you have them, it's a positive thing for the child to see.
#2. Insurance/benefits. By being married, I am insured whereas I was paying for my own insurance at a few hundred a month.
#3. If I pass away, I want my wife to handle my estate.
#4. If I fuck up, my wife is a good enough person that she deserves any compensation that may come her way.
#5. Taking that vow and documenting it wasn't religious for me. It was proof of my devotion to my wife.
There are many other reasons..The point is, I'm happilly married and it's something that was right for me. I'm sure it's not right for the most of you, but I guess that's why you are single. Not 1 thing has changed since marriage... I still go out weekly with my friends who are girls, I still get plenty of time to hang out with the guys and she still enjoys making her own money. Those who know my wife, know I picked a winner.
