Keith Jarrett - The Koln Concerts
I was never big on jazz music until this CD. This guy is off the hook. Everytime I listen to this CD I hear something different, If you don't....... listen closer.
Keith was playing in Germany... hense The Koln Concerts title, and was not feeling well. The only piano they could find for him to play was an out of tune piano in a church... so he sits down sick and bangs out this CD. You can even hear him moan because he is sick on the CD.
He has said that everything he plays comes through god and if you want him to play it again, you have to record it so he can learn it again.
None the less.... killer CD
A must have........ IMO
