I served four years in the Marine Corps and have the scars and medals to prove it. I would've fought anywhere, any time my country asked me to. But I never got the call for a war zone.
I don't live in the US and won't again until some major changes are made. But if any foreign nation were to invade the US, I'd be home the next day. I'd get armed, supplied and be out on the front lines, fighting alongside my countrymen.
Just because you don't like the way your team is playing doesn't mean you don't strap on a helmet when the big game comes around and they need you. I'm not proud of my country right now, but I'm still a proud American.
