I was set to render a video and I turned to get up to take a break and I looked into the Roach cage and like 30 babies were literally pouring out of Herb's bitch.
In all the years I've had these I have never seen a live birth of so many. Occasionally you see 2 or 3 new ones, but never 30 at one time. (give or take a few)
I think there may be to many now though.
If anyone wants a setup, please let me know. The truly are fascinating and extremely low maintainence. I can quote roach facts for days. Don't get me started.
You could use them as feeders I suppose, but I'd rather they go to an actual home where they will be cared for. They make great first pets for kids as well.
They're not as creepy as people seem to think. They are pretty clean, the love oranges. They don't smell. They hiss, but it's just because they are pushing air out of their bodies. They don't bite. They are very docile.
