I was going to respond to bunch of people, but it would be just as easy to group my responses in on post. It is as follows:

You are all fucking retarded. 5 million? Are you fucking stupid?

99.9% of people retire with way less and live fine. Sure, maybe you need more if you work for yourself, but seriously, what is an average pension these days? Add a little for benefits.

Honestly, if you couldn't retire today with 1 million dollars, you probably are the biggest moron when it comes to money. Make a modest return on that 1 million, and you will be making more per year than most people in the US.

You don't need to retire with ferraris, multiple houses, and all that fancy shit.
