I think perhaps you just notice the gay guys who talk about how they are gay - but I dont think this is any different than talking to some idiot who is completely self-absorbed and can only talk about their job, or how sucessful they are.. or some woman who cant get over the fact that she's female and needs to constantly remind everyone...
Bottom line - self-centered/narcississtic/self-interested character traits arent restricted by sexual preference
