You guys think that America should allow any Tom, Dick or Harry with hostile intentions against the US into space? Are you mad?
Let's put it this way. Let's say I want to kill you and your wife and kids and I have informed you of this plan. In fact, killing your entire family is my main goal in life. Then, you find out that I want to move into the house next to you. Would you
a) Let me move in, knowing full well that I will try and kill you?
or
b) Try and stop me from moving in, thereby saving your familiy's life in the process?
If the answer is (b) does that make you
i) an idiot
or
ii) actually clever, logical and decent.

In this topsy turvy bizarro world in which we live, it seems that some people actually think it's somehow dishonourable and stupid to protect your country.
In related news, most people in this thread also think that Iran should be allowed to have nukes.
