Even if you are right, you added what exactly to this discussion?
Certainly I didn't make the point as clearly as I could have done, so here is the long version.
A lot of people seem to be looking at this as if it is a battle that is crucial for one side or the other to win. That may, although I doubt it, be true for some of the individuals involved, but from the longer-term perspective of the industry as a whole, this doesn't rate as more than a skirmish. Realistically it is also likely that the bad guys are going to win this one, but that too doesn't change the direction in which the industry is moving.
It may be easier in metaphor. As kids grow up, they may suffer from acne or any of a whole raft of teenage torments. But regardless of whether their passage is easy or difficult, they all become adults according to a very similar timescale. The details of the process are therefore irrelevant to the outcome.
Our industry is in the same position. Anything is theoretically possible, but there is nothing to suggest that online porn will prove to be unique. Therefore it will become a mature industry regardless of how it gets there or precisely how long it takes. The dramas en route may be interesting as they happen, but the details are ultimately neither here nor there. That was what my comment was intended to convey.
