Brazil can be sketchy thats true, but some really great women come from there(probably the most jealous in the world). You need to hit Bahia for carnaval, hope you speak Portugese, you'll enjoy your trip 100% more if you know some basic phrases..
I don't think regular Brazilians can be classified as ruthless, go there and you will see that most will be happy to give you the shirt off their back!
Come to think of it I met my fair share of ruthless girls in BC.
Surrey and Abbotsford come to mind.
Costa Rica even has some hardcore girls, I'm sure they wouldnt try and rob you blind if they had half the chance..,
