Ouch. I've seen this type of stuff happen with younger girls. They don't know us older players have seen this behavior before and we already know how it'll play out. Usually, the girl will go out with her 'friends', hook up with a dude and come back to you like nothing ever happened. Maybe even acting more affectionate and sexual (guilty sex).
This scenario is similar to a student calling a teacher the day of a final exam to tell him that her aunt died and she needs to go to the funeral. The teacher knows the student is bullshitting, but the student thinks she's off the hook.
