The problem is that Mike South's comments were not "constructive". Mike says...."well lets see you overused photoshop smart blur and your lighting is bad...the photo doesn't "pop" as we say in the biz". I don't see Mike's comment as being constructive. A "constructive" comment would have been to tell her what was wrong with her lighting. Give her something that she can use and grow from. Telling someone that they have "bad lighting" is not constructive. Telling them they have bad lighting and then telling them how to improve it - now we are talking constructive criticism
