Take the ammount you make in a month. Subtract what you spend (credit cards included). The remainder is how you find out if you are poor (broke).
So if you make $14,000 a month most people would think you "have money." But, if you spend $15,000 a month and float the remainder on credit cards you are not well off, you are broke. You are poor.
