Anyone working on WAP sites know which carriers' WAP gateways support the "HTTP_X_UP_SUBNO" http header?

Anyone have other methods of uniquely identifying a WAP client without them having to go through a third-party (i.e. Bango) and would be willing to share some insight (handset cookie support??) ?
