I thought cable could handle like 30 megabits and adsl was limited to like 5-6 megabits max. So cables sharing with your neighbors wouldn't be an issue.

My damn DSL in aussie with Telstra is constantly down, I mean last month I had 4 days where it just died for 2-8 hours. that was a bad month but it still happens to much. My DSL provider even started a refund policy for people cause they had so much damn downtime.

I guess I'll have to wait till they lay a 100,000,000,000,000 terabit cable from Aussie to LA
