The bank doesn't give a shit about what I do.
The do give a shit about cashing a check that looks fake.
Quit trying to deflect the issue. As soon as I saw the check I was like "WTF is this". I was not surprised about the bank doing the same thing.
It mostly pissed me off because the teller just walked away for 15 mins without saying something like "excuse me, I need to verify this check with my manager". Simple enough for me; but maybe she wanted to hold my ID and not let me know so I coudn't run before she called the cops.
