You know what's the best way to do? Be quiet about everything. Don't announce it to anyone. Don't even tell your parents. The more you're quiet, the more it will get to them. Revenge is best served COLD.
A few days later, meet your ho of a girlfriend and tell her you will be seeking custody of the child. Don't act like you're upset. Be business-like, almost kind. Prepare a game plan to divide whatever property you guys have.
Don't talk to both offending parties, unless it's necessary. But when you speak to them, don't show any emotion at all.
That worked for me and boy, did I get results!
