IndiePosh.com
Hi, I've been lurking these forums for a while, and decided to finally come out of my shell and see what the GFY community thought of my new babelog. It's called Indie Posh, and it focuses on the hottest indie scenesters, tattooed goddesses, pierced princesses, and crazy babes. Basically, anything that's "alternative" without being overly creepy (ie: biting bats heads off and shit, haha

).
I did the entire design myself, and it's been a labor of love. It's my first site, and I have made some money so far, but $100 a month isn't gonna cut it as time spent versus returns.
I've gotten featured at Fleshbot, which was a nice kick-start, but since then i've only been managing meager visitor counts (around 500-1500 uniques/day).
Here are some questions:
What should I do to increase visitors to my site? I have a clean design, with well-written content and stuff to keep visitors coming back for more. I just need more raw traffic now, I'm ready to start stepping it up. I know babe blogs historically aren't the best places to trade traffic with, so what should I do?
Should I put up some banners, vertical banners, or more shit link that around the place? There's a lot of white unused space on teh bottom right of the nav bars as you scroll down, would you recommend plastering them with ads upon ads?
I know that having just one site means only one stream of income..., and now i'm looking into maybe starting another site, a TGP, or possibly into making galleries and submitting them.
I'm a full-time college student with two other jobs and a hectic schedule, so I don't really have hours a day to spend on updating 7 sites.
Should I start a TGP? I know that unless you have a lot of extra cash lying around to get your name out there and get an appealing aesthetic design, you probably won't get the hits that you want. Would making a fake TGP with the galleries I've linked in the last two months work better? I've been thinking that's the best way to go as far as time/money spent versus returns.
I would just like some honest feedback as far as my site goes. It's not one of those robot-run autoblogger type things, it's maintained lovingly by hand and I want people to appreciate it. So let me have it: What would YOU do with it?
