I've had them not allow me to enter the country for something as stupid as not having enough US cash in my pocket to satisfy them (I was on a train going across the border and only had enough cash on me for lunch, the rest was in the atm). He wouldn't even let me go get more, just kicked me off the train. I have never had a criminal record in my life.

All you have to do is go get a pardon :P
