Did I once say I don't tolerate people who believe in any religion, not just Christianity? You're going out of your way to generalize every statement everyone has made and take the attack to individuals.
The Bible today in its many forms says many, many different things. The Dead Sea Scrolls as well as many other manuscripts that have been found over the years and translated have shown that today's versions just do not reflect what was written. They have been altered over time, either by people's poor translation, or their own skewed agendas.
In the dark ages, the Bible would only be written in Latin so that the common man could not read the contents and the ruling law could govern what or what they did not know.
