Christians used to give me a lot of grief for producing porn. Now SOME in the adult community are doing the same for leaving for God. But others will support your decision and wish you well. It's been a learning experience for sure. I know you won't let it get to you.

You of all people should know better, Donny. You used to make those same kinds of attacks yourself, and though I understand you have had a change of heart, you know EXACTLY why many people here in this industry have major issues with Religion/Christianity. It's one thing to change your mind, it's another entirely to look down your nose at people. Jesus spent his time with the lowest of the low, and not once did he hold himself up as a shining example of wonderfulness and piety to them. He never ever made them feel that they were bad or wrong, only that they needed to change for the good. He NEVER belittled them, he never judged or took things personally. He lived and let live. You should not be so surprised at the reaction that people have taken to this. If people would just say "Ok, I'm leaving the business for personal reasons, that's that" and finish what they start instead of MAKING it a big deal by preaching about it, they wouldn't be inviting those same attacks. You can't for one second tell me you didn't fully expect that backlash when you made it all public. But c'mon... You and Crissy sound like former-smokers preaching at people who currently smoke. It doesn't make much headway, and all it does is piss people off. You two don't have to defend your choices... but no matter what choices you make people will have something to say if you make it a public thing. Many people have exited the industry for religious reasons over the years (a few I knew personally) and most people today wouldn't even know better. They just know those people moved on and it didn't turn into a big preachfest.
You may be ashamed of what you did, you may think it's wrong, but *I* enjoy my job, I'm good at it, and I don't find sex between consenting adults for any reason to be wrong, I don't think nudity is wrong, I don't think fantasy or kink are wrong. If they are so horrible and evil, why have humans developed with the ability (and yes, even psychological NEED) to fantasize, have a certain degree of sexuality and eroticism and desire in their lives? Does god look down on the animals of the field that copulate for pleasure (and yes, there are some animals who do). Does he expect them to abide by rules and get married first and do this and do that before they can do that? No, in fact, animals are the BIGGEST sluts of all, and they do it for no better reason than a better nest position, better genetics, OH MY! We may not have a right to judge your choices (although we have a right to our opinions on them), but in turn you don't have a right to judge people like me continuing to make OUR choices (although you have a right to YOUR opinions). There is no one right or wrong way, and I bet even right now you could not say difinitively that you have the ONE true way to god (whatever flavor of Christianity you choose). Nobody has the right to stand on a soapbox and declare that their way is the right way, nor in doing so to automatically make all other choices wrong. You folks have made your decisions, we all have made ours. I think all that anyone ever wanted Crissy to do was to not leave them all hanging, I don't think anyone is asking her to stay and do what she doesn't want to. There's business involved there too, and I know for a fact Donny that when you made your choice you did NOT walk away from the business leaving any former business partners hanging for money or for product.
