After reading your thread, I don't think any of our affiliates would be affected by this type of spyware. Here is how our process/priority currently works:

When a link is clicked on your site by a surfer:
- If there is an id in your link, that takes top priority over everything else
- If there is no cookie already set, we set the refer cookie to the campaign id to track the visitor if he returns without your link so you still get credit

When the surfer hits the join page:
- If there is an id in the link, that is used
- If there is no id in the link, a cookie is used (if one exists)

So there is no cookie overwriting happening here...
