I should have also mentioned that I tested the plugins with the Three Column Kubric template and the two column Black Letterhead template. One thing to watch for is that some plugins look at the wordpress address instead of the blog address which fouls things up when they aren't the same (i.e. installing Wordpress in a sub-directory but running the blog from the domain root). Also the plugin "Subscribe Me" assumes Wordpress is installed in the domain root so the image folder will have to be copied there.
