If it's the same guy from 1999, I worked for him before he got canned a couple of years earlier as my VP. He lived in KC and I managed our group in Dallas.
He was going to do it and decided at the last split second not to, but caught the bottom half of his face. The joke was that he shot his mouth off one too many times.
A sad thing is that a nice guy who worked for him in KC tried and succeeded a little while after that because his wife was fucking around.
