employees are grinded up and spit out even more than the porn industry...a new car salesman is nothing but a straight up WHORE...The new car business is straight bullshit and the need to haggle over price is useless when the dealership gets razor thin profits off of a new car in the first place...Everybody in the car business knows that the profit comes from selling USED cars...
And like I said before, EVERYBODY gets grinded in the car business...the only people that are secure is the owner, his son (like with Darvish), and the salesman who has been there for YEARS and has his bullshit laid down so sweetly, there is no reason for him to ever leave.
You might as well gone into the bailbondsman business..

I went to that Darcars place once to give someone else support while they were buying. Long story short, they tried to keep him there super late so he would be too tired to keep saying no to things like undercoating and other nonsense upsells. So, after this has dragged on for many hours and we have once again been left in this tiny cubicle while the guy consults with his manager, I start complaining to the person I am with about their hard sell sales tactics and obvious attempt to keep him up so late that he will roll with anything.
So the manager chick comes storming in, I guess because other customers in other cubicles could probably hear me outlining what I thought their tactics were. She starts telling me that I need to watch my language because she doesn't need to sell my friend a car. Now I know how to cuss with the best of them, but I wasn't saying anything particularly colorful at the time. So I just look at the person I came with and I can tell he doesn't care any more. So I yell "FUCK YOU" and we get up and leave. The chick is actually shocked, like she thought she was going to scold me and that was going to make him buy unnecessary service packages.
You are right about it being awful for the sales guy though. He followed us out to the parking lot and literally got down on his knees. He did his job and the finance guy and the manager lost him his commission. So yeah, I'd have to agree finance guys at car dealerships tend to be more morally bankrupt than smut slingers.
