Being bored and talking shit with friends about wanting to hear hoosiers games on the radio he thought why not broadcast radio and tv on the internet. Walla broadcast.com was born. One could listen to sports and other shit online. He took the company public, it went nuts like all internet IPO's did. Yahoo bought it for 1.5 to 2 billion in 99.
Bought a lot of shit and also the Maverics for a little more than a quarter billion.
Started HDnet, high definition shit... and well so forth.
