Who says he wasn't ? I immediately knew who he was... I didn't reply to it because it wasn't a replyable post... or at least, certainly didn't NEED a reply
Les Paul is a pioneer... moreso than Hendrix or Clapton etc...
Les Paul invented Multitracking, and developed and invented various modulation techniques, and of course one of the first guys to hand build and develop the solid body guitar (famously the Les Paul came from this!).
Oh yeah... I knew who he was.
