sure, overall its an unfortunate situation on how this was portrayed on the radio ( at least according to qwebexpo, since NoCarries gives us a different version ) but no reason to overreact for people not involved in this directly

Yep but imagine this : the story pops big ... sensationalism journalist cna do that.
Every adult webmaster in the province here and especially in quebec city would get toutched.
And this definitly wouldn't be any good for the industry... maybe not really bad, but def no good.
The whole industry is doing a favor to NoCarrier by helping him, the least he can do is help the industry out.
