My whole family is Catholic. I was raised Catholic. Never have I seen anyone push my family into giving money. Donations are always requested of course because thats how the Church operates and supports its various social programs, but very little pressure. I always see people say things like "religious people are evil and force you into giving money!", not all religious people do... just the ones that live in fancy houses and have private jets, haha.
